Yes, you can. Taxis here in Leh are governed by Ladakh Taxi Union.  So the prices are fixed as per the rate list issued by them every year.   

Yes, taxis for drop to Leh city and other locations are easily available at IXL Leh Aiport. There is a taxi stand on the right side once you are out of the departure gates.  

It depends on the vehicle you choose. But in general an INNOVA for a return trip will charge around INR 11,000/-. If you are taking a shared taxi service it can be as low as INR 1850/- per person (Max 6 persons).

Leh to Kargil full taxi fare in INNOVA is INR 13,293/- for return and INR 9,969/- for a drop. 

No, Zoomcar is banned by local taxi union. However, you can either drive your own vehicle owned by you or any family member who is travelling with you. Else you need to hire a local taxi or cab to take Leh taxi services.

Yes you can. But remember to carry Registration Certificate which shows that you or someone travelling with you are the owner of the vehicle.

It is extremely important and mandatory to remain in Leh for minimum 2 days (48 hours) upon your arrival. This is also mandated by Tourism Authorities and accordingly the permit is only issued after 2 days from your arrival date. This is because Altitude Mountain Sickness (AMS) which causes lower oxygen levels in the body which can prove fatal if necessary precautions are not taken.

Yes. But you will need an Inner Line Permit to travel to Pangong Lake which can be applied online. Also, remember to respect local environment and do not indulge in taking your vehicle on the banks of Pangong Lake.

It depends on your tour and destinations you want to cover. Here in Leh Ladakh, the cab fares are fixed by taxi union and are as per the destinations. However for a 4-5 day trip, keep a budget of around INR 25,000/- to 30,000/- to cover all major tourist attractions.

Self owned cars are allowed in Leh Ladakh. Either you should be the owner or someone travelling with you.
